Location

The zoning office is presently located in the Warren County State's Attorneys Office (the third floor of the Warren County Courthouse).                                                                                     Services

This office issues building permits for the county with the exception of the city of Monmouth and incorporated villages. The department works with the planning commission and the zoning board of appeals. Application for building permits may be picked up at the zoning office, mailed, emailed, or faxed. See the Permit Fee Schedule for costs of permits.  Completed applications may be emailed, mailed, or faxed.  Although farmers are exempt from fees, applications must still be done and permits issued.

 $75,001 - $200,000                   $270.00 + $2.50 per $1,000 over $75,000

 $200,001 - $500,000                 $582.50 + $2.00 per $1,000 over $200,000

 $500,001 - and above                $1,182.50 + $1.00 per $1,000 over $500,000

             $300 Non-refundable fee for an application for Re-Zoning.

             $75 Non-refundable fee for an application for Special Use Exception or Variance.
